Trip Journal is designed to help you create private journals for your trips,

Information Trip Journal Uses

Trip and Journal Information

You may create trip names, dates, daily journal entries, places, tags, and
other trip details. This information is stored on your device and may sync
through iCloud using your Apple account.

Photos and Videos

Trip Journal can access photos and videos only with your permission. You can
grant full Photos access or limited Photos access through Apple’s system
privacy controls.

Photos you import into Trip Journal may be stored by the app so they can
appear in your journal. Videos may use references to your Apple Photos
library so they can be played from Photos when available.

If you use Trip Journal on multiple devices, iCloud Photos is recommended so
your favorite photos and videos are available across those devices.

Photo Metadata

When available, Trip Journal may use photo metadata such as date and location
to help organize media by trip day, place photos on a map, and look up
weather for a day.

Trip Journal does not use this information for advertising or tracking.

Weather

Trip Journal may use a photo’s location and date to look up historical weather
for a trip day. This is used only to show weather inside your journal.

iCloud

Trip Journal may sync your journal data through Apple iCloud using your Apple
account. iCloud syncing is handled by Apple’s iCloud services and is subject
to Apple’s privacy practices.

Purchases

Trip Journal uses Apple’s in-app purchase system to unlock paid features,
such as unlimited trips. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. Trip
Journal may check purchase status so it knows whether paid features are
unlocked.

Information We Do Not Collect

Trip Journal does not collect or use your information for:

Data Storage

Your journal data is stored locally on your device and may be synced with
iCloud if iCloud is available for your Apple account.

Sample trip content, if included, is built into the app for demonstration
purposes and does not sync to iCloud.

Your Choices

You can control Photos access in the Settings app on your device.

You can manage iCloud availability through your Apple account and iCloud
settings.

You can delete trips and journal content from inside Trip Journal. You can
also delete the app from your device, which removes local app data from that
device.

Children’s Privacy

Trip Journal is not intended to collect personal information from children.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children for
advertising, tracking, or marketing.

Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. If changes are made,
the updated policy will be posted with a new effective date.
